Week 7: I'm a Chef! July 22-26 (Full Day)
This week's theme: I’m a Chef!
- Elementary students will spend the morning cooking and baking with professional chef and certied AMI Montessori teacher Marcella Cabezas, and spend the afternoons working on a cookbook, having tasting tests, and learning about food science!
- Ages 3-5: This week our Early Childhood age will work on measuring and pouring and following simple recipes. We'll talk about healthy food and use all 5 senses to explore. (If your child loves cooking, also check out Week 6, which will include an hour each morning of cooking with Ms. Marcella).
- **Toddlers 18 months to 3: Toddlers need stability and consistency to be comfortable and confident. Rest assured that toddler camps will provide daily consistency while being loosely themed as age-appropriate. This week we will learn about healthy food!
Consistent with the high standards of the Montessori Method we teach during the school year, the
Summer experience sparks the imagination and follows the child’s interests through engaging,
hands-on learning. Every camp will include STEAM experiences and/or guests (such as the Houston Zoomobile or a NASA rocket scientist!). Students will learn peace and service, spend time exploring and playing outdoors each day, and engage in academics in a way that sparks joy for learning subjects including art, science, engineering, math, language, and more.
Full Day Camp runs from 8:20 to 3:00.

The second will come within 48 hours, after the school has processed your order. This e-mail will be in invitation to complete enrollment for your child(ren) with important information such as allergies, permissions, and emergency contacts. This second step of enrollment must be completed before your child starts camp. Failure to complete enrollment may result in forfeting your space to a child on the waiting list.
