PARENT GROUP

Kingwood Montessori School has an active community of parents who seek to provide support to our teachers and administrators throughout the school year. The Parent Group (PG) is the forum at Kingwood Montessori School for communication between the school administration and parents of children who attend the school. The primary goal of the Parent Group is to help initiate positive changes on behalf of the Kingwood Montessori School students. Each year, the Parent Group consists of at least one representative from each classroom.

The Parent Group provides teachers with support for a variety of events throughout the school year including the Thanksgiving Feast, Winter Cultural Festival, and the Annual Blue Skies Spring Picnic. The PG also assists with fundraising support, parent education topics, teacher appreciation, and school-wide community building.

 

Involvement in the PG is completely voluntary and all parents are welcome to join the group. We are always seeking parent involvement and we value every parent's time and talents. Meetings are held monthly at the school.
