SUMMER AT KINGWOOD MONTESSORI

We offer a Summer School Program

This journey allows students to explore Montessori materials, arts, crafts, outdoor play, and make new friends. Students will be invited to experience the Montessori Method, a hands-on, interactive learning approach. Children will learn to concentrate, follow their ideas through completion, and create original work.

Children will develop their leadership skills while being guided by Montessori-credentialed teachers. All teachers are trained in the careful art of observation and guidance of children.

No weekly or pro-rated options are available. All programs are offered depending on enrollment.

Keeping the Spark of Discovery Alive All Summer Long

When the traditional school year wraps up, children shouldn't have to pause their natural sense of wonder. Summer is a beautiful season for exploration, building original crafts, and running freely under the sun.

At Kingwood Montessori School, we offer an immersive summer program designed to keep young minds active, curious, and smiling through the warmer months. Instead of letting hard-earned academic milestones fade away, our seasonal classrooms provide a refreshing blend of hands-on discovery and classic summer joy.

A Unique Seasonal Experience for Every Age

We build our summer weeks around the core values of peace, diversity, and mutual respect. Guided by our credentialed educators, children dive into interactive science experiments, creative art projects, and outdoor games that turn long days into meaningful personal growth.

Our programs run from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and cater to three specific developmental groups:

  • Toddler Environment (18 Months to 3 Years): A nurturing space focused on sensory activities and early socialization. We offer both half-day and full-day options, and toilet training is not required.

  • Early Childhood Environment (3 to 5 Years): For toilet-trained children, this full-day option balances language and math foundations with gardening, music, and nature play.

  • Elementary Environment (6 to 12 Years): A vibrant full-day setting where older kids tackle advanced creative challenges, team sports, and deep environmental studies.
